Recording Finished!

060911: After many hard day's work, we are proud to tell that the recording of the debut album is finished. We are extremely satisfied with the result. If you liked Depressive Arts earlier recordings - you will love this. Expect the same elements as before - furious energy, melancholy and a psychedelic touch - everything taken to a much higher level.
On Thursday, the skilled engineers of Studio Mega will start mixing the album. Next week the title of the album will be revealed - so make sure to check this page!

Studio Update!
060722: Almost everything has now been recorded on the album. What's left is Torbjörn's magic keys and a few surprise instruments. Now, as the vocals are in place we can tell that Klas has done an amazing job. The perfect mix between rough rock voices and mellow Leonard Cohen-vibes have been recorded. It sounds better than ever. The title of the album is yet a secret - but make sure to visit this page often and soon you will find out!

Studio Update!

060623: The debut album of Depressive Art is growing stronger by each day. All guitars are now finished and Klas has sung vocals on four songs. The process is full of creativity and and many new ideas have sprung to life. The remaining vocals will be recorded in the early july and shortly thereafter organs and pianos will join the other instruments. All the six travellers of the Psychedelic Ghostride are convinced that everything recorded so far sounds amazing.

Studio Update!
060609: The band's guitar players Sanjin and Joakim are currently working through blood sweat and tears with some really Depressive guitar tracks. As usual, you can expect the perfect blend of tasteful melancholic leads and groovy acoustic riffs. Besides the traditional approach, the band and the Studio Mega producers have taken the sound one step further. What this means will be revealed this fall - on the day of release...

Successful studio sessions!
